Thursday 14 July 2016 Technical issues finally overcome! The drive south to Avignon on Sunday took us through varied and beautiful countryside (along with hundreds of others possibly travelling to Marseilles for their summer holidays!) My grandfather landed on the shores of Gallipoli 25 April 1915. It's an honour to accompany my darling 90 year old mum (his daughter) to attend the commemoration ceremony.
