Day 3- The Eiffel Tower

Day 3 -

Spent with Alex.

Time to up close and personal with the Eiffel tower. The first stop was the Arc de Triophe, now this is an awesome structure, we could have climbed it but we we were saving ourselves for the Eiffel climb. From the Arc de Triophe we could see the Eiffel tower and it was just over there... ok so it was a good 45 minute work (again we may have gone the long way) but it was not as close as it looked, along the way I added to my collection of I spy the Eiffel tower shots.

What an amazing structure, it really does have the wow factor, we climbed the 700 steps to the second level and then went to the top 😊 Unfortunately there was rain coming in and it dampened the view but it was still spectacular. Once down at the bottom we tried our luck at some Eiffel posses or awful poses.

The rest of the day was spent meandering around the city, we ended back at the Notre Dame Cathedral and then some shopping in the Latin quarter.
