Day 1 4/4/12 London to St Jean-Pied-de Port (Great host room)

Well it has been a while since I have been on this but the internet hasnt been the best. Am now rewriting this as my money just ran out as I was about to save it ...oh the joys...

Caught a bus from Dwayne and Jules at about 4.30am to go to Euro rail to catch a train to Paris. A man at the bus station was going in the same direction so we followed...something that we are learning to do...glad we did as some of the doors were locked at the station and we would have had know idea...so with his help we got onto the train to Paris....had to get a ticket in Paris for another ...know idea a young guy came up sold us his tickets sent us in the right direction....not sure if we were shafted or not but we were heading the right way...(sorry Dwayne didnt tell you about that). 2 Buses and 2 trains we were in Biarritz. Met with 2 Americans Mark and daughter Merri, Richard a Canadian, and Joe from sydney all doing the walk. Mark immediatley took our email addresses so we can all let each other know how our walks go. We have all lost touch now so was a good idea. Our train to St Jean-peid de- Port turned out to be another bus which was great as we got to see alot of country side. Everywhere we looked was like picture postcard. Will get photos up when I can as words dont describe it. We finally made it to St Jean-pied-de-port at about 7pm. Was a long day travelling
