Day 3
Outside Dieppe quick coffee stop and roof down. Day 3
Today the road takes me from Dieppe and my overnight stop to Reims. The toll roads would take you there in just over 2 hours non stop but my road took me closer to 6 including stops. The sun was up and the roof was down on the car. The road meandered through French farming land, around large towns and through smaller ones. It ewas a mixture of narrow country roads with rough surfaces to smooth fast toll free dual carriageways. Ill try to do a map and add it to the blog at the end of the trip but mainly used the D930 D133 D901 E46/N31
Reims itself is quite a bustling metropolis and maybe tomorrow Ill spend some time there as tomorrow is a non drive day.
There's a few checks to carry out on the car nothing too major just the usual oil and water. It developed a minor misfire at some point today which then cleared. The distributor cap is not the greatest of fits so it may need some tweaking to the retainer clips to hold it tighter. Maybe just a little hiccup but a check over will be needed before
Day 3
I was here.. somewhere near there we get into the mountains later this week.
Photos today are pretty much all on the move some are just random shots from the car windscreen so you get to see what I see...
The numbers for todays trip will have to be put on tomorrows blog. They will include running any around I do in Reims.
Departed around 10:30
Arrived in Reims Hotel F1 (wouldn't recommend this hotel chain unless you are on a strictly strict budget. Its an adequate place to sleep at the very best) 16:00
