After disruptive strikes on behalf of the Channel ferry operators which affected eurotunnel journeys, I arrived in Mont Dol via a night in London with Ali and Izzie. Here for the summer - a time for walking on beaches, helping run Manoir de L'Ormelais, with luxury bed and breakfast accommodation and gites. Lucy and Olivier, friends from Dubai, own this gorgeous manor House and run it during the summer months.
