It began rather ominously. We slept straight through our alarm and wouldn’t have made our flight if it wasn’t for our persistent taxi driver. After 10 months travelling through Central and South America in 2007-08 we have well and truly settled into life in London (with Lara spending 3 months volunteering in Uganda early in 2011). We are continuing our travels on weekends and for shorter breaks, whilst possibly planning something on a larger scale in the future. But plans can always change - so who knows? lovely photos
nice one. it's not all that bad to join travel groups as a "break" from independent traveling. hey, these are truly good photos. esp the flowers and the sunbather. ha ha ha.

Thanks Lili, you're absolutely right about there being nothing wrong joining a group...we just found it a little difficult to let someone else make all our decisions for us, as planning and deciding what to see is something we really enjoy.
