Trebon - the land of midieval man made lakes and fish
This place is rightly famous for its delicious fresh water fish. They know how to raise and cook great fish. Try the pike perch. We drove our car 3,300 km from Minsk, Belarus where we are teaching to see the cities, Christmas markets and quiet snow covered countryside of Belarus, Poland, Czech Republic and eastern Germany.
The majority of our 3 week tour was spent in friendly Czech Republic. Our third stop in Trebon for two nights turned out to be one of our favorite stops because of its lack of other tourists, awesome fish restaurant, pub and peat spa. This quaint old town was quiet in the off season. Just step through the any of the town gates and you connect with nature. A result of one of the many man-made lakes that abut the town.
