[last night was so much fun! we ended up at this club called "duplex" which apparently is where bruce willis parties in prague, and also mick jagger had a birthday here or something--- i just danced the night away with my friends- it was a great time. we ended up getting to meet up with our friend misa (see picture) and it was so great getting to see her again. so yes, my first club experience was a very positive one- i realized it's going to be kind of strange going home and not being able to drink or go out to clubs for another year. i'm all of a sudden going to feel very young, especially when my close friends will all be turning 21 this year. anyway...]

today is my last full day in prague- tomorrow my flight leaves at 10:30 a.m., and i'll end up in st. louis at 9:30 p.m. except it's really going to be much longer than it sounds...since i'll be getting time back. and i'll have 3-4 hours layovers in the airports...by myself. should be interesting- i'm not too worried, i've become pretty self-sufficient in airports. it will probably get a little lonely, but luckily i have plenty of stuff i can do to entertain myself. anyway...

this morning my friends and i (who have dubbed ourselves the breakfast club) went down for our final breakfast together. then we came back upstairs and got ready- rachel, katie and i left a little early so that we could stop and get flowers for malvina and marketa and then also get to the school a few minutes early so that somebody there could help me call the airport to confirm my flights. everything worked out fine, and so then we meet up with the rest of our class. malvina and marketa loved the flowers- i think they really love how easy going and fun we've been these 2 weeks. they tell us about how in their other american classes they teach the students are rude and complain a lot- and so they always complement us on our self-sufficiency and positive attitudes. i love being able to be a positive american ambassador. :)

instead of having class, we just all went to this cute cafe to hang out. they did give us our papers back and told us we were all going to be getting A's. yay! they said they really appreciated the logical order and flow in our papers...which i was glad they said since we basically wrote each of these papers in about 10 or 15 minutes lol. but it really was a great class with them, and i'm glad we were able to meet them.

after we left the cafe, katie, rachel, dionne and i crossed the charles bridge for the last time to do a little final shopping-- we stayed out about 2 hours and now we're back here in the dorm. i've done most of my packing at this point, and tonight we're going back once more to our favorite restaurant-- apparently it's my "birthday dinner" :)

so i guess this is it...my last blog! this time has gone by so quickly- and i truly have had the most amazing time. i hope everyone has enjoyed reading about my fabulous jet-setting, and i look forward to being back in the states to see/talk to everyone!!!
