None of us really know the future and though we would like to return here again next year or at some point in the future that is not a certainty. Life can change so quickly, like last October when Bill completely cut his quad muscle when he "dove" off the ladder while pruning the apple trees in our back yard. Having this in mind, Bill decided to go round the campus taking pictures of various buildings and places so we can refresh our memories. We humans forget so much and photographs bring back many memories that would be utterly lost otherwise. The campus is divided into a lower level and an upper level. The older buildings are all on the lower level. These are the buildings that are several hundred years old and have seen many uses through the years. Some uses have been an inn, a home for permanently injured Czech soldiers after WW I, the Gespato headquarters during the Nazi era, one building was an orphanage for children of parents whom the Gestapo had killed, a secret electronics plant during the Communist era, and now an international Baptist seminary. Old Road Across the Campus
This runs along the side of the Campus. It used to be the main road from Dresden to Prague. tell, many sad stories and let's hope some really happy ones as well.
