We must visit that guy from the bar, he was so cool. Has his girlfriends farther kicked him out for being a bum?
First things first, getting to our lovely vineyard where we can taste the home made wine and relax.

Update:
We have arrived at the accommodation and to our surprise we have a fairly nice room with kitchenette and a very nice bathroom but where is the vineyard with the home made wine etc. Let me quote the description....
Don't get me wrong it is loads better than Lapad.

Lumbada is v.quiet, not sure if I want to spend the whole 3 days here as booked, maybe go and stay in Korcula Town.
We found a cocktail bar on the beech just next to the marina; you can't miss it as there isn't anything else.

Cocktail bar closes at 11pm in the off season; I guess it is open longer on season.

We wave goodnight to Jules from our taxi as we head off to meet Irene and her mother in Korcula Town. Taxi cost 90 Kuna and could seat 8 maybe, 120 Kuna for the return.

We had a wander around the town

We stayed in the house behind the tree, similar to the one in the photo tho.
to see if there is any life. The club was free to enter as there were only a few people in there. The cocktail bar on the turret was also closed, but if it is open I would suggest a visit.

The bar next to the bus station is always busy, especially when it is raining as everyone goes inside for a dance. The music is great and a great place to meet other tourists/backpackers from all over.

Hi, I've just got a touch of the travel bug. I've just got back from Slovenia so processing the photos and creating a blog, didn't want to spend time on a computer while on holiday as I was trying to get away from it. The photo is not the best but sums up the holiday ( I was always happy and alcohol did play a little part in it). And there is definitely a story there, coming later. There are 13 days in total and they will all appear over the next few days (today 24 June), maybe not in the correct order depending what I can remember. Update: Well that didn't work out too well back... full info

What?!
What are you on about dude!? Lapad is way too quiet, in fact we expected to stay on a vineyard with gorgeous sea views. What we got was a rather uninteresting (but adequate) place to stay and I had to share a bed with Jules who snores like a bastard!!! hahah. We even turned down a place to stay (when arriving on the ferry to Korcula) from a hot woman with two fantastic personalities.......you live and learn. The turret bar in Korcula was open - Jules had a massive argument with the waitress which was just EMBARRASSING!!!
