Dubrovnik October 1st London, Gatwick was easy and efficient. We didn't have to officially arrive in the country but were able to go through another security check into the transit area of the airport. We first backpacked in Eastern Europe in 2001 visiting Netherlands, Slovakia, Slovenia & Italy. In 2002 we spent the whole 12 months backpacking around the world. Glad to hear you have arrived safe and sound. I bet you are enjoying a bit of cooler weather now. The photos are great.I remember seeing the Alps like that when I went over them, but I didn't think a photo would come out, so didn't take a photo.I dare-say you used the Zoom on your camera. Did you? What a pity everything is so expensive. You'll be noticing it after the prices in Mexico. Keep enjoying yourselves and tasting all that lovely food.
