Who would have thought that war ravaged Croatia is the gem of the Adriatic. Sparkling blue beaches, an Ibiza type atmosphere in Hvar, and islands waiting to be discovered. Hvar island is my favorite, although i wish i would have had more time to explore the islands. chilled on a clifside cafe during the day and partied in a castle at night. it was trully unforgettable. it hurt leaving croatia, not because i had to go, but because i accidentally kicked an urchin and its spikes went into my foot and got stung by a bee as i smacked it cuz it got too close to my lasagna. well i guess theres a first time for everything.
