After arriving back in Zagreb from Pag. Drea and I headed to the Mirogoj Cemetery. Mirogoj Cemetery is the largest cemetery (and the most noteworthy landmark) in Zagreb. It is owned by the city (not by churches like the other cemeteries) and accepts burials from all religious backgrounds. The cemetery was beautiful and picturesque and worth the visit.

The next few days we went to the mall by her house and did some shopping. I got some beach sandals and we watched some interesting movies at the theatre, to say the least. One day we watched the movie “No Hard Feelings” starring Jennifer Lawrence and the other day we watched “ Fool’s Paradise,” starring Ken Jeong. Both movies were mediocre at best with “Fool’s Paradise,” being one of the worst movies I sat through.

In conclusion, Croatia was worth the last-minute trip decision. The best part was experiencing Croatia through my friend Drea’s eyes and watching her speak Croatian. In the future, I would like to visit Croatia again with my sister and explore the rest of the Balkan area. Until Then
