Good afternoon!

We happened upon the internet cafe again, so thought we would do another few minutes typing and rest our feet. Been doing ALOT of walking.

Vienna is very beautiful indeed. Lots of lovely baroque type buildings, and the centre is very compact so it's very easy to get everywhere. Expensive though-today we had a picnic in the middle which was very pleasant.

Not a could in the sky, as you will see when we return, as Peter has taken a picture of blue.

I will briefly explain the concept to you of Peter's 'Happy Time'.

This only occurs four times a day, at either 1:50 or 10:10.
Apparently this makes the faces of (non digital) watches and clocks look happy.
Every so often I now ask Pete 'What time is it?' to which he has to reply happy time 😊

We visited the Monet and Picasso exhibition at the Albertina this morning, quite pricy to get in, but worth it. Lots of works from other artists like Bacon, Durer and Cezanne. Pete enjoyed it too!!

Mandy, hold on to your hat and sit down again, last night, along with chicken and potatoes, Peter ate SWEETCORN AND ONIONS together!
Maybe because the cafe hid bacon in it, but he did the good thing and ate it anyway!

yesterday we went into a massive exhitibishion about egypt, romans and greeks, with lots of white statues and mummies and massive sarcophagi. It was very interesting but hot, and our feet hurt very much by the end of it.

Pete you will be pleased to hear, is feeling his usual perky self again.

We leave Wein tomorrow night, at about 10:30pm on a sleeper to Praha. Then we've one night there and two booked in Krakow.

Pete would like to point out that our next stays have an (unintentional) animal theme, staying in Prague Lion Hostel, and the Flamingo Hostel. Which looks mostly pink.

Postcards are on their way as soon as we can find stamps.

Speak to you soon.......

Lisa and Peter. xxx

Happy Time! ;=))
Well, the days are rolling on, and we are enjoying every morsel of information from the Big Day Outers... I am trying , quite unsuccessfully, to not be jealous of you pair. Your exploits sound the most fun, and quite educational too! M has told you about OUR little day out, Thoresby was a lot bigger this year (around 20 stalls) and some really lovely cars, and we found some equally nice people to speak to. We were given a couple of phone numbers for when we get stuck for parts or knowledge, could be useful. Still no joy at the Studios, we Still await the builders... But the sun shines in the square, so we enjoy long coffee breaks! Keep Exploring, keep Blogging, but most of all, enjoy it all! XX
