The hiking trail
We started dying of heat and at the top were rapped in our raincoats freezing Well all I can say is man it is georgeous here. Everywhere u look is mountains. Serious walk out of our hostel and we re surrounded. So as soon as me and Jordan got off the train we were like we are hiking that biatch. No guide no map just us and my compass. So we took off and finally found some trails. They dont go straight up but side to side. Along the way we saw everything from giant slugs to dark caves. Really cool. So after about 4 hours we were as high up the mountain as we could get without leaving the trail or taking a helicoptor or something ( about 1600m). So we saw this glacier up the mountain. No joke it looked so freaking close so we decided to hike it straight up this crazy slope. About an hour later we got there. The air was so thin it was crazy had to stop every ten feet to rest. Man what a hike I was absolutely drenched. So worth it though. Once up there we could clearly see we were in a avalance shout. There were giant trees and just loose rock everywhere. And of course
Innsbruck from 2000m
U can see our hostel if u get out your microscope. Have fun with that a huge glacier. We wanted to get to the very top peak but had no climbing equiptment which was mandatory. What a veiw u could see the entire town and it looked like nothing. And all the surrounding mountains were clutch as well. We figure we were at about 2000 meters. We were looking down on the clouds. In fact one cloud even moved into us. It was weird, so misty and cold and wet. Love it. The walk down was rough my legs were shot. And after smashing our ankles off boulders and little stones on the way down the avalanche shout we were spent. Haven t had a sleep like that the entire trip. The second day was quite chill. went out for lunch, then din then watched the World cup final in this giant square on a huge bigscreen. Remember everthing is shut down in Austria on Sundays so we had to eat out. So you don t even have to smoke in Austria to be a smoker. Cuz these Austrains are freaking chain smokers. We watched a guy bike up to the top of the mountain trail get off his bike and smoke half a pack
Me sweating on a glacier
Quite a sweat on after climbing straight up for an hour. Makes the stairclimber seem like a walk in the park of cancer sticks. And at the fussball (soccer ) game I watched a guy smoke a entire pack of cigarettes in an hour then go buy more and kept lighting up. Gross my lungs are shot and I haven t even dabbled. So we re heading to Switzerland now, Interlaken. This summer hostel booking shit is getting rediculous. Man nothing is availible and we re booking a week ahead. We really wanted to stay in Gimmelwald on top of the Alps but they said they are full. I ll try and call tonight but this is redik. Can t wait to get to that farm in Ireland and relax. But everyone take care and keep in touch. And Mills stop being such a fag and send us an email. At least let us know your still alive.
