A gorgeous sunny day, so we took advantage by heading up the mountain on the gondolas - yes that is correct, it required TWO gondola rides to get to the top.

Essentially, you drive across the Inn river to the other side of the town, and make your way to Hungerburg by either car or bus. They you take the first tram up the mountain to a ski area after which you can take another tram and head even higher. You could ski if you wanted to attempt a 70 degree pitch.
