My trip to Saintard Haiti was with Heart Hands and Hope for Haiti. We stayed at Phillis Newby's mission House in Saintard Haiti to unload a 48 Foot Trailer containing clothes, food, optometrists chair, tractor, shoes chairs and Christmas presents for many children of Haiti. Abby was never without kids from the orphanage wanting her attention.

Each morning this young man would walk from the bakery into Saintard Haiti with fresh baked bread.

Highway 1 goes through Saintard Haiti and Tap-Tap buses, pickups, and motorcycles move the residents and their cargo.

I saw children as young as two or three caring water from the aquaduct to their homes. One young boy used an old one gal cooking oil container one third the size of the child.

Each morning water had to be collected. The aquduct was full of activiity

The Aquaduct was always filled with people bathing, doing laundry or collecting water for cooking or drinking.

Water buckets are always in high demand in Haiti as well as many other third world countries.

Altamaha Baptist Church Mission Haiti Trip 2012
