Secret Costa Rica: Naomi Park

We had walked to the end of the walkway on the sea wall and found there were kayaks there to rent but there was no one to rent them from. The security guard said you have to go to the office in town and rent them and then bring the receipt to the guard to get a boat. Had been given directions as to where the office was but when we got there no one was there. This is a point of frustration for the guard because people want to rent the kayaks and he cannot do anything about it. Walked around the park and checked out the scene. It is a very nice place with a fairly well protected bay area. Too bad the kayaks did not work out. This appears to be a park that is used frequently by the locals and seemed off the beaten path of tourists.

Lunch at place across the bridge that is frequented mainly by locals. Tide was out and it was interesting to see the different formations that were exposed and then watch the tide come back in.
