TEFL Days 013
In case of an earthquake or tidal wave... So it's now Thursday. I have to teach a small activity this morning. The guy I was supposed to teach with went home yesterday and decided that teaching wasn't for him, so now it's just me. I'm teaching clothing articles. "Keegan is wearing a green shirt." It should be fun.
Anyways, last night Karen, Rebekah and I went into town to just walk around and get acquainted with things. We also went to the beach and watched the sunset. It's pretty cool because there's this street on the coast of the town where everyone gathers to watch the sunset. Then we ended up at a really pretty restaurant with good food. However, we soon realized it was a tourist, or "whitie" as we call them, area because everything on the menu was in English and the music was from the 80's and 90's. We also spent like 70 bucks between us. That's a lot of money here. After dinner we went to Dos Locos (2 crazies) for a beer and to watch live music. It was fun and only 2 bucks.
Time to finish homework and get ready for class. =)
