Hey chicos!
Im here in the lovely smokey internet cafe of san joaquin,costa rica. as you can see, i made it here safely. Life is sooo different here and i love it. i just started my classes today. i will post some pictures very soon! just to update, i{m living in a house with a mom and dad. they are the nicest people ever, and i have two sisters, 20 and 25 years old. i{m learning so much spanish.

Hello Jan, So glad to hear from you even from a blog. Glad to know that you're getting along there OK in CR. As for us, it's been an OK June so far, we just finished hosting your Grandpa's memorial last Saturday - June 4, it was a good turn out. Must have been 50 some people. Kim just started school at COD, Bong M is back with us from his trip to Seattle. Your Mom's getting a check up this Wed, on the 8th with Dr. Kawasaki. Noel M is in Chicago to watch two Cubs games at Wrigley Field. guess what we saw him on live TV tonight. Should be coming to our house this Friday, 10th for a visit. Well that's it for now, have a great class(es)in San Joaquin. Post some more, I wil be looking it up. P.s. I don't know what Pura Vida means... - Pop

I'm glad to hear you are there safely - I can quit worrying about that part. How is everything going so far? Are the people you live with making an effort to build rapport with you? I hope they are - wouldn't want you to get bored. It must be gorgeous - you're taking pictures right? Right?? We miss you at our little club, though admittedly, it isn't happening until tomorrow. Thanks for the update but we expected to see you in them too. Can you take some pictures of your Tico's home and your room? We miss you. My check-up went well. Will tell you more next time.
