Traveling to Nosara got off on a great start when we missed our bus and had to take a taxi driven by a one footed man in order to catch our next connection. He was cheerful nonetheless. Next, we got to sit in a bus terminal for a lil while...enough time for some pigeon to take a shit over everything I own. Seriously...It went everywhere. Not just one drop like a normal bird; this one must have eaten too many beans and washed them down with some of the bad water they warn about in all the guide books. He/she slopped it on my shirt, shorts, arm, shoes, and backpack. The locals got to laugh at me from the safety of the buses while I made T-Bag wipe me down and a sweaty Zoran slept on the rest of my gear.

Finally, the bus came round and we boarded for Nosara. Oh, forgot to mention we picked up another Canadian to join our travels named Matt. He's pretty cool...been around the world a decent amount...likes to hit on girls. He's from Quebec so French is his first language, and speaks English like he was taught by a Spanish guy with a lisp. Anyways...he was funny to have come along and hopefully we'll run into him down the road when we depart.

In Nosara, everything was closed up for the off-season. After wandering around for a little while, we finally ran into our new best friend --- JUAN SURFO! He's a squirley little Tico-man who owns a surf-shop in town. Hooked us up with a house we rents out...our own house for $10 a night and only 2 minutes from the beach break in town. Sweeeet!

Just today, Taylor and I completed our 7th straight day of surfing...well past my personal best. Waves have been alright here but we're hoping for better form soon. I'll post some pictures when I get a better connection.
