Wow It is nice to hear that you are able to find the way to events.
The Opening Ceremony was great. I will be so anxious to hear of your great adventures.
I keep looking for your faces in the crowd but no luck yet.
Have fun and try to warm up and dry off.

HAPPY YOU MADE IT!! What's a "little" rain? You certainly can find a little something to warm your inners.
Just have to tell you that the Olympics are always exciting, but knowing that all of you are a part of it even makes it so much more fun for all of us. Have fun - love this blog!! Jane
advice for trip to Cypress? Hi, my family will be going up to Cypress Mountain for the Aerials competition. I am concerned about my kids holding up in the bad weather. Any advice for us? Anything you wish you'd brought with you? We have standing room tickets, so I'm wondering whether we can bring portable chairs? Umbrellas?
Thanks!

Yay Apolo! Hello Miss Brooks and Mrs. Murphy,
We were watching Apolo skate last night. We were so excited to see Apolo be the amazing athlete that he is. We also watched the women's mougles. Amanda and Alley were thrilled to see Hannah Kearney take the gold. We were getting a little nervous the first time Apolo was skating, but he pulled through just fine. We can't wait to see your next blog. Have fun!

Opening ceremony It was awesome to watch. The only awkward time came at the end with the mechanical failure. We had taped it and when we went to watch it yesterday the tape stopped right before the ending. Three of those structures had come out - the tape stopped so we never saw the final lighting.
Rain We were watching the mogul competition in its entirety and kept thinking about you guys. NBC also said with the security being so tight they recommended you get to your event three hours ahead of time. It was so exciting to see the American girl (forgot her name) with the competition. Did you see Matt Lauer yet? Stay warm and healthy. Keep writing.....
You look like you are having a great time. Your blogs are making the olympic experience more personal for me. I saw some American flags at the mogul competition. You could have been behind one of them.
I'm sharing the blogs with the Sisters I live with. Sr. Lisa (from St. Gregs) says Hi Mickie.
Have a great day!!!

More fun to watch because you're there! Just wanted to let you know how much we're enjoying watching the Olympics trying to find you in the crowd. It was especially tricky looking for you during the Opening ceremonies....but it is so neat knowing you are there. We are living "the experience of a lifetime" through you.....keep up the good work!
Glad to see you guys are having fun. Never suppose to rain at a ski resort, but I'm sure you made the best of it. Don't do anything I wouldn't do! Have a great week.
WOW Mickie,
How cool..... you are experiening such a WOW moment, how neat it must have been to see the the olympic torch. I can't imagine how awsome the opening ceremony was to see in person....I was wowed watching it on tv. Have fun, and we look forward to reading more of your blog.

Yay, USA Hi!
We keep looking for you and the rest of the "Cougars". Did you keep the flashlights? How horribly sad about the athlete's death. Sounds like you're in a perfect place. Warm up there, while Hawaii is the only state without snow! Is this more Murphy's Law-watch out you may be run out of town!!! Have a fabulous time (somehow, I think you will even without my wishes). We'll keep looking for all of you! Love, Me
Go USA! Hi Miss Brooks and Mrs. Murphy,
How are the Olympics so far? Our family was watching for you during the opening ceremony. It is very unfortunate for Georgia's team loss yesterday, but we admire them for their strength and courage. We will follow your blog and keep you in our prayers. Have a good time!

P.S. The boys are doing well!
Thinking of you Hail to the Vancouver Girls! Thought of you last night as we watched the opening ceremony. We were so excited to know that you were there. Sorry to hear about the travel/luggage trials but you're there-ENJOY- and keep those updates coming!
Go big or go home! Well based on your pic msg on Thurs I would say the last minute "training" has begun before the opening ceremonies on Friday. Good luck this is what you have dreamed of. Don't forget to stop, look around and take it all in. We will be watching from home and rooting you on to some big wins!! Go Team Cougar!
Gods Speed I hope you all arrive on time and safely. Thank goodness you are going westward. It's hard to believe it's finally here. Have a great, great time and I'll be watching for you.
