to add comment are you kidding? and all this time I was doing difficult to communicate thru skype. You could have told me that the last time (that I can add my comment here) we spoke thru skype and I should have told you also about paramaribo ghost town in the afternoon. Now that you do describe the scenario in the afternoon it is a funny setting but for the surinam people it is normal...but now that I am watching this as an outsider: why are (was I also) they doing that"; running away simultaneously in the afternoon??????
Well, these pictures do bring back old memories. Did yoou ever find the "tigriball" soup?
What!!!!! A bike ride at 2 o'clock in the afternoon in surinam...you wanna "bun up"
That near-guilty feeling! Hi Guys, I almost (not quite) feel guilty about the extent to which I am enjoying myself at your expense :-)) Free history lessons, free country tours, family introductions, free lessons in architecture, road building and scuba diving, not to mention free nature studies, cultural and national mores ..... all in the space of six weeks. You guys are really something else.. a pedometer, no less!! And how many more months to go, God willing? Wow! to date 53 pages of text and 1,163 photos ... but who's counting? :-))
Let the adventure continue... Glad to see you guys are still on the run...lol Suriname looks like a pretty interesting place to visit,Nice pictures.Sorry i did not get to see you guys while you were in GT but continue to share the excitment.May God continue to be with u guys.
Afspreken Hey Shanna,
Hi Junior and Shana, I finally got a day to myself and to catch-up with the blogs. I must say it was great fun to spend some of my vacation time with both of you. Kaieteur/Orinduik--- hello! I'm still misty eyes. Too bad the time was soooooooooooo short/sweet. Maybe we run into each other along the way. Be safe and continue to have lots and lots of fun for all who had dreams and those who dreams are on the way of becoming a reality. luv ya Ps Shana did you find any hidden eggs in Paramaribo:-)
Suriname niccceee! Hi I enjoyed the pictures of Suriname. One day I hope to visit that country and hope to see OOm James Williams. We have your phone. Mom.
Waaaaw!! Shaantje, these were full of memories for me, of course. You even made a photo of my father's former office!! And of course you do not even know that! And, if I am not mistaken there is also a pic of one of the schools I attended (situatied at the back of the building on the pic). Hope you and Vibert still make it to visit Blauwgrond and go for the good gamba's in Tor. And I forgot to tell you to go taste the delicious 'vleesbroodjes' (salmon, chicken or beef) at Tangelo's . I was so surprised to see Wine!! I didn't know you were talking about 'our' Wine from Aruba. Give her my best regards Shaan!
Keep enjoying honey! I am waiting for the next pics!
Love!
