For the longest time I was wondering why Giordano and Bossini were selling t-shirts with Smiley faces printed on it. I thought that maybe HK's design ideas were going down the drain. Turns out that when HK was falling apart economically - like the rest of the world - they decided to do something about it by Cheering Up the people of Hong Kong. They started this campaign, getting the community together and helping each other. Printing out happy t-shirts and make people smile. I definitely got a little frustrated yesterday, I've been trying to upload my pictures for the past few days even after TB's database or whatever it was, was fixed - and it didn't work. Tracy once said to me that blurry photos are good because it makes things look prettier. I'm sorry Tracy, I would have to disagree. I have many blurry photos so you'll just have to use your imagination. I think it's cause I don't stand still when I take photos, I'm ALWAYS on the go, walking walking walking. Tonight I went to Wan Chai and ONCE again I forgot my camera - HOWEVER - I have collected a couple of photos online for you to see where I've been. Wan Chai is known for being a red light district (strip/ night clubs and what not) as well as a place to go and have a drink or two and be merry. There are many, MANY expats there. This has nothing to do with Hong Kong but my mother baked some cookies yesterday for father's day. I did the packaging. I thought I'd show you what kind of activities I've been doing (and I honestly haven't done too much) They are cranberry cookies and it's de-ri-shush! I'm probably going to go out tomorrow for a "stroll" in the city and take some pictures for ya'll to see. I was helping my mother all weekend so didn't do too much picture taking. HELLO! So I decided to get a job and found one. It is a conversational tutoring position - in Chinese. I talk and play with this girl who is 3, name is Amelia and she is from South Africa. I see her from Monday to Friday, butt early till noon ish. I can honestly say that 2 hours would do the trick but I stay there for 3 - 4 hours and by 2 1/2 hours, I am beat and she still has a shizer load of energy. Of course. Tsim Sha Tsui has everything you need and you want. Everything. They sell stuff from Louis Vitton and Dior to no brand, great style stuff. I decided to go shopping again and bought myself a couple of things... mostly clothes... lots of dresses. Those of you who don't know, I love dresses. There's always a lot of people in TST, especially afternoon/ night. My camera died on me. Or so I thought. Turned out I pressed a button that didn't allow my screen to display anything so I was banging on it for a while (cause I had this problem before, nothing to do with the buttons I pressed)... Travel blog was being weird. June 11th I spent my birthday with my best friends (minus Winnie :( ) I met in Hawaii. Mandy and Tracy. I haven't seen them for a year so it was definitely a joy to see them. They treated me to dinner and bought me a mango cheesecake for my birthday. I never really had cake on my birthdays, I recently started having them... this year I had two! Very grateful.
