You think you got stamina - I just sat through The Last Samurai for the eighth time! Climbing over mountains and wading through lakes with a llama on your head? Impressive? Pah, not one bit. You're just a pair of amateurs. Try munching your way through a whole tin of hot chillie Pringles whilst reading sub titles. Now that takes some doing!

gainful employment...
well Wendy, if you don't get back into housing on your return, there could always be an alternative career! Could be a niche market for the UK......

Isn't this blog entry out of chronological order? Even if it is, I thoroughly enjoyed it, as always. A reference to an 80s pop classic and the p&k - my cup runneth over! x

Having a good time then?
I have been reading all your posts and enjoying the trip, just haven't got round to commenting. Bolivia looks really interesting and do I detect the urge to settle in Sucre? Hope Peru is just as good.

Was so excited by the photos of the Midwich Cuckoos that I didn't read the text until now. That has made my day. x

I take my hard hat off to you.
You two are either very brave or completely bonkers. I'm tempted to put my money on the latter. I virtually had a panic attack simply reading about the experience. x

OMG!
You are braver than I that's all I can say I think I'd have gone in about 10 inches into that hole and started automatic reverse. Makes you realise how lucky you are when you moan about a bad day in the office - at least we have oxygen and cups of tea - count your blessings is what I say. Thanks for showing us this - makes interesting reading. Keep safe xxx

Now there's an experience! I've descended a mine in Wales but didn't have to crawl - and the air was breathable - that was spooky enough. Are you in a work phase at the moment or free to explore? I assume the latter but have lost track. Let us know in your next post.

Glad to see that you are still going strong. Would you mind sending some of your winter weather over here please. It would be an improvement on our summer. Hope my stick of rock hasn't gone off yet!
