the Louvre
Those Louvre pics are pretty funny, I bet people were looking at you pretty weird! I don't think I have ever seen such a well coordinated bird attack...except maybe in that Alfred Hitchcock movie.

Hahahaha. Between your brother's comment and the Louvre pictues, I was pretty much cracking up throughout this post (oh, and how could I forget Nila getting pooped on!!). I'm glad you had a wonderful finish to your travels! See you in a few weeks!!!!

WHAT HAPPENED
NOOOOOOOOOOOO. Where'd it go? What happened Nate!?! Why? WHY? Did Nila make you do it???? Im gonna have to have a long talk with her. Thats not gonna fly man. It just looks naked. Is it cold? Well you can probably grow a new one in like a MONTH. Did you name it before you cut it out of existence? And did you give it a proper burial? You really need to consult me before you make rash decisions like this. Im a bit disappointed to say the least. I loved that gotee like a brother....

Phenomenal photos!! The ones from your cable car trip (particularly Climbers Memorial) are breaktaking! It sounds like the 3 AM bedtime was definitely worth it. And just so you know, Joe is wrong; movies don't need cars and explosions to be good. Chasing Liberty was perfectly lovely without them......

Some movie huh?
I am not sure I am familiar with that movie. Music and Hills? Where are the cars and explosions? Obviously it wasn't a very good movie!

Glad your doing well and still alive. I made it back from Mexico in one piece although that is likely to change next week when we leave for Philly (wed.) Hope you trip in Austria with miss Nila is awesome. Look forward to hearing from you.

I DO approve. Looks like you had a blast. I can't wait to hear about this and the MANY other great experiences you're having over there. At least you have Nila to look after you now... so she thinks : )

Thank you!
I'm sure enjoying the pictures!! At least your camera hasn't drowned like Nila's! I especially like the ghostly picture of you-- very creative! And what happened to Andrew's arm?? I don't remember hearing about him breaking it, but that sure looks like a cast! Anyway, it's good to see everyone looking so good and having a wonderful time. Making lots of great memories, no doubt. Take care.............

Bulls!!!
You should join those silly people running with the Bulls...try and get some pictures. If you do, I won't tell Nila because I know she wouldn't allow such reckless behavior ;)

Forgetful :(
Okay, so the first time I read this post, I had about a hundred things I wanted to say (give or take a few). Unfortunately, it was before work, so I didn't have time to comment, and now I can't think of ANY of them. GRR. So I guess I'll just say that it sounds like you had quite an adventure. And now you can say you've been to Africa and that's pretty freaking cool. In conclusion, just wanted to let you know that I miss you! I can't wait to hang out with you and Nila again and hear all your traveling tales (plus the 24 marathon, we ARE going to the zoo, and now I hear camping as well =), and apparently there's a Dave and Buster's in Omaha so Joe's thinking 21st b-day = fun (no girls allowed, haha).......SO excited!!!) Anyway, I think I'll stop my mini-book comment now! Have fun!

FYI
Cold Stone has an entirely new line - ice cream shakes. You should probably plan to spend at least an extra 10 minutes of decision-making time on all future trips. =) Oh, and yays for a week off from school! I'd like a week off from work! Your pictures are all pretty sweet, particularly the cave ones. This trip is really bringing out the inner photographer in you!

I'm having a few chuckles thinking of you at a discoteca. ;) Sounds like you are still having a good time though (minus the cold showers). Joe has gotten me absolutely hooked on 24. I'm gonna have a hard time waiting until next semester to see Seasons 1, 2, and 3, but Joe is keeping me in line. Anyway, thanks for the update! I'll be waiting for some pics!!

There is no escape from Nebraska.....it's a giant black hole sucking you in. =) Anywho, your pics look like they are out of a travel guide. Wowzers! Have fun exploring! I'm looking forward to reading all about it!

Ah, Europe!
Hmmm.... a grand total of 10-12 hours so far in transportation layover... yep, sounds like Europe! Did you have the cold potatoe-laden "patata e fritatas" at the "Denny's"? That's all I remember eating in Spain... non-stop... to the tune of $2 a fritata, a college student couldn't go wrong!
