That's way too cool!
Finding that I met wonderful TB addicts...and that's few days after we spent nearly a week together is a great moment! And during all that time we never ever made a comment about TB...crazy! Are we sure Kim is not on TB?!? We need to post this pic in travelblog album! Hi from Congo...no bears around!

Sweet off season and off-the-beaten track!
You two have such a knack for finding perfect places! While others battle the southern island crowds, you've had the most magical explorations of the north islands--bears, eagles, woodpeckers, salmon and totem polls. As usual, your historical info and "trivia" (bald eagle balance) has been fantastic. A bit of my trivia is that in the US, potlucks, where everyone contributes a dish, are popular. Our word comes from "potlatch," which was also a time of distribution of goods. See you in polar bear country.

What a delightful adventure!
This is really your best adventure of all! Bears, eagles, whales and a float plane--really, I don't think it can get better than that! What wonderful photos, too, though I must say, I'm partial to those little cubs. Incidentally, I'm living with some Brits now, and I do think you/they have some very comical expressions, some of which I now use such as dodgy, brilliant, beastly, cheeky and knackered. Cheers!

Orcas galore!
Wow, what wildlife! Your whale watching tour really outdid itself. That Azure Beach House and its area really are the best--so glad you're returning. And now a float plane to an island lodge--rather reminds me of the film, The Proposal, set in the islands of northern Washington State, not so far from where you are. Looking forward to more magic!

We love to travel and experience different places and particularly like to view and photograph the world's wonderful array of wildlife - and we are so so lucky to still be able to do so although a little slower these days. After retiring in 2010, we have travelled the world covering every continent as older generation nomads - hence our name Silvernomads.
