Green ...with envy! I love all of the pictures, the turtles are my favorite! I'm going to try and convince Lu that we need to come stay at the Eco-Lodge. Keep it up!! Love you guys!
Looks like you guys are doing great and doing good things over there. I just can't get over how beautiful it is! Thanks for showing us so many different things!
You guys take care!!
baskets This is a really interesting entry. The co-ops (soap making, baskets) sounds alot like what leslie did in PC. The people are so beautiful. Do you find them 'happy'? Is it just us in the U.S. that seem so bummed al the time? It must be in the water. LOL
Politics have been very distrubing in the past couple of weeks. I'm afraid..VERY afraid. Panama was nice. You guys have done the right thing. Long live adventure!
Hope all is well, it is facinating to say the least. I am proud of what you are doing and learning. We truly do borrow the earth from our children.. we are but visitors and should treat it as such. Love you Mom
Having a learning experience Like most adventures there is a learning curve that we all must go through to get what we are after. I am not sure what you two are after and how this will contribute to your long term goals but it sure looks like you are getting plenty of exposure to a different world. I suspose that all education has its own reward and helping others succeed and learn is the greatest reward. Here is to the two of you: Keeping looking over the horizon and may you find what it is your looking for that will make you happy.

Too cool. This place looks amazing. Is it really that beautiful? Looks like some 007 movie set. LOL Wish i were there with you guys. How is the insect population? It doesn't look like it would be too bad. Is it cooler than CC? Or have you adjusted? Love it love it!
WHEN I SUGGESTED YOU GO DIVE.... WOW... WHO WOULD HAVE GUESSED, FROM SCHOOL TEACHER TO THIS. I HAD NO IDEA YOU GUYS HAD LEFT. GLAD TO SEE YOUR PUTTING YOUR SCUBA LESSONS TO GOOD USE. STOP IN AND SAY HI IF YOUR EVER BACK IN C.C.
Aunt Shirley You are doing it correctly. :) We are trying to add more photos. The computers here are slow and expensive to use. May invest in a laptop for when we are on Ko Ra to make it easier to keep in touch! We miss you and love you both!
your photos I LOVE ya'lls photos ... From ya'lls first blog ... Am I doing THIS correctly? Do ya'll add photos where I am blogging or is your dumb aunt ALL confused?!
Shirley AKA surgoose
Want to go to there This looks sooo relaxing.. I can't believe that you and Jarod have this great oppertunity to see the world. What a huge risk but it does have a huge reward also. We love and miss you both. I hope that you can continue to find happiness. Try not to get too excited about hog heads they can only hurt you if you eat them.
A good way to prevent food poision, before you take a bite, tell the waitress that the food smells funny and would they or the cook sample some of the food from your plate first. Or look at the table next to you and order whatever the locals are having. Do not do what GG does go to a steak house and order fish.
Dad
doing the right thing The pisc are great! Can't wait to set up a webcast. Do I need to send you a camera for you computer? Just let me know. I cahrge it to the grade level. LOL
SHARK! Hey! I just got back my computer because my sister has been borrowing it for an online college course all summer. And well, im checkin out your blog and I have to say great job! I just happen to be looking at your aquarium photos here and I was wondering if you could explain something. I have lived here in corpus all my life, and ever since I was a toddler I have gone to the aquarium at least once a year to check out the fish and all. Still, I never quite understood how they keep the shark from eating the other fish in the tank or just from getting a little curious about them. Is the shark not with fish it would normally eat? Is it kept well fed so it doesn't need to eat them? Don't sharks get curious sometimes and investigate with their mouths? Well, If you have some information just let me know. I still haven't looked over everything so I'll send you another comment shortly. Great job so far.
livin' large! WOW! That is beautiful. JoAnn got to see her first in Panama this year. I've seen about a dozen and rode on half that. They are always a treat. Wish I were there!

Y'all will have to try the most insane thing you can find and tell us all about it. It's great you are getting involved with the kids, that's where it's at for sure. Keep the udates coming...
Take care,
Conor

"A human being is part of a whole, called by us the Universe, a part limited in time and space. He experiences himself, his thoughts and feelings, as something separated from the rest--a kind of optical delusion of his consciousness. This delusion is a kind of prison for us, restricting us to our personal desires and to affection for a few persons nearest us. Our task must be to free ourselves from this prison by widenin... full info
