Hey guys...just got down to San Juan del sur in Nicaragua. Love this place so much i never want to leave! it's got everything you hope to leave behind in the States and all the tropical feel you need on a holiday! As far as safety, you guys don't need to worry at all....i'd say managua is just like all the other central american cities...not the nicest place and definately worth getting out of quickly to get to the beach!!! San Juan is originally a sleepy little fishing village and now its becoming a cool tourist town with a great atmosphere! It's still super cheap which is awesome and the surfing is really good with a tonne beauty beaches all over the place.
