sounds amazing. i'm so impressed with your stamina. especially in the heat--i went to the coast a little while ago and i almost died. thank god for the indian ocean.
also way to go with such regular updates. i've written about 3 good update emails since i've come here. i think they're a pain but yours are so exciting and interesting so keep writing.
take good care of yourselves!
your pictures are amazing, yet again. it's crazy to see a society so unlike our own. and i'm also really enjoying the orange shirt you bought, it's cute.
i don't think i would be able to deal with constantly being gawked at. and the animal abuse, no thanks. that's definitely not cool at all. but other than that, it seems like you guys are having a good time.. so thats wicked.
i really wish i was there to see robs reaction to the cobras.. how terrifying. i don't even know what i'd do, considering i'm sometimes scared to even pick up our snake..
another great blog! it's nice to hear you guys are looking out for the animals. that would be heart breaking to witness the abuse.
haha, your comment about running full tilt = no more than a light jog made me laugh.
looking forward to hearing from you soon!

Haha, woah, now I am scared to eat stuff when Colin and I get to sketchy Eastern Europe... The cremations would be amazing to witness... I am writing a paper about it (well kinda), so it'd be 'nice' to have a first hand experience of it.
Oh, and septic means infected with bacteria. Anoxic is without oxygen.
Hi from California. Nice to see the pictures - very interesting. Sorry to hear you were so sick Rob - the trials of food abroad!! It looks like you two are having quite the adventure and getting to experience a lot. Keep safe.
india sounds absolutely mind-blowing. i'm sure you are both incredibly exhausted, i know i would be. my head would probably spin right around if i even had a little taste of what you guys are up to on a daily basis.
and the taj mahal - incredible! i am glad you guys were able to truly appreciate it in all it's natural glory. you guys are extremely lucky, and i'm glad you can comprehend just how magical of a moment that really is.
Sounds like you guys are off to a great start. This reminds me of our time in India. You will enjoy all the sights, sounds and smells I am sure. Look forward to more updates and will see you in Amsterdam.

What an amazing time it sounds like you two are having! I'm frankly a little overwhelmed just reading about it - wow Sarah, so how does all that feel? FASCINATING! - and it makes me desperately want to leave my stuffy Uni office and get on a plane ASAP! I can't wait to see pictures of this.
Rob, the geckos and I would not have been friends either....eww.
Love you two bits, xxK
