Still no luck
I have tried as you suggest, and I still don't get it right - stays with the published date - it doesn't want to accept the new date at all.

As you add more previous trips...
you might want to edit the "Entry Date" to reflect when the trip took place. This keeps everything in chronological order, and you can group the Trips by the first entry date and the last entry date...not all trips took place in 2012-13, I imagine! It's easy to edit...go to your Profile Page, click on List Entries, Click on Edit, and then make the changes. Hope this helps! Anyway, I enjoy reading blogs from the past so that we can see how things have changed.

Tried but no luck

Thanks, I still have a lot to learn on the Travelblog website/page! I tried it once when I was still adding a blog entry and I seem to remember it didn't allow me to put in the correct date of travel, but will try this tip and see if it works, because it makes so much more sense. Because I couldn't get it right originally I decided to put in the date at the start of my blog. I welcome any further tips! Thanks for reading my blog!!

What a fantastic trip...
it is so sad that Egypt is unsafe to visit today. But it has its ups and downs. I remember we wanted to take our kids there before leaving Europe in 1995, but tourists were being shot then, so we didn't go. Hopefully someday, there will be peace.

Good idea to avoid being shot at!
It's always so sad when there is such conflict, uprising and war and unnecessary death in a country that has so much to offer. Many countries in Africa and indeed the rest of the world is volatile. We always say that if its safe to visit the country then do so while you still can.

Aaah Alma, I so enjoy your writing style and matching pics. I have a similar 'album' with farm/holiday/seasonal and sommer just trees... But being technologically previously disadvantaged not managed it ever on this pc thing!!! AND not even thought of the symbolic thing, just did it cos trees are so inspiringly(!) beautiful. Fortunately you can do the writing and the other 'stuff'....(it IS on my to-do list for next year...) Keep on blogging. xx (PS please add the baobab on the way to Mana Pools, in the middle of the road!) xx
