The best of places to visit
Calabar is the best place to be during the month of December because the stress of 365 days in the year and the mounting global economic depression is totally forgotten and happiness is the order of the day.

could that be NAIJA?
Calabar carnival is yet to be rivaled by any party world wide no wonder its acronym africa's biggest street party.vistas of opportunities abound to be harnessed to better the economic base of the state devoid of total dependence on oil.the carnival should be private sector driven with government supervision.

Other People should come to Nigeria Now
Nigeria has the largest concentration of black people on earth! So we want people to visit and enjoy what we have to offer. I am amazed that you have managed to come despite all the bad publicity about Nigeria and still able to put all these together. Kudos. Check www.cometonigeria.com

I wonder why people even try to praise this man(Imoke) everything he met in power is dead and others lost. the president nor vice have not commission a single project in the state not even power that he controlled or should I say that controlled him when he was minister has been commissioned and the other day I watched on TV roads that Mr Donald Duke constructed being credited to his(Imoke) name even while they commercial cyclist were riding pass proving that it was Donald Duke time they still showed it as Imoke's achievements and now the Calabar festival and Carnival that people all over Nigeria and beyond loved so much Imoke is trying to kill it too. Mr Governor please while trying to kill another man's achievement try and achieve yours too and not flaunting another man achievement while still trying to kill it anyway you were not even an achiever in the first place and besides your wife is the one ruling the state no wonder 99% of all the shows she was the one seen while you remain at home sleeping as usual. It is so sad that Cross Riverians that are suppose to stand up for the state are busy struggling for senatorial and house of reps seats leaving your wife not you of course to rule the state and it is one of the reason why Human government will always fail.

The Uniquiness of Calabar Xmas Carnival
Calabar Xmas carnival is the best thing to happen in Nigeria eleven years of Democracy all over the country. After toiling in poverty for twelve months, the carnival provide the opportunity to savor funds and return to the vicious circle of poverty. It is not surprising that within the period, crime rate is the lowest. There is often friendliness in the air even from the 'agberos' (city miscreants). The carnival represent a vision which is the hallmark of leadership. The sustenance of the carnival by succeeding administration is a lesson in the continuation of public policy which has been the bane of development in Nigeria. If Nigeria's leaders were to conceive credible public policies such as this, and sustain same through administrations, poverty would have been reduced and employment would have been incrementally generated. It is a legacy of leadership by Duke, sustained by Imoke. We can make it better and give its international dimension. God Bless you all as you join hand in making the carnival better in whatever form.

Advice to carnival Organizers
We advice Calabar carnival organizers to ensure that international musical artists do not future much earlier during the carnival,to give us room to travel down and enjoy, participate and spend our resources without regrets,as the carnival progress. Organizers, please take note. Thank you.

There is no place like home
I'm proud to be a Cross Riverian because anywhere we go to we are always making a difference and with the aid of our culture have really made us to stand out in the croud and not to talk about the carnival it has really made the EFIKs to be known for there culture and hospitality. it hurts me that i have never partaken in the carnival but not withstanding someday soon i'l do that.

Fun packed all the way through
The Calabar Christmas carnival is well thought of idea any time, any day. From the first day to the last, which goes into the new year, it is fun-packed to the brim. I give kudos to the organisers, they really do a great job making the celebration season comparable to none in the world. From the musicians that entertain in the night time, Artististic performance during the day all the way to even the Christmas village it makes you wake up each day with a skip knowing the entertainment slated for the day is going to be another bomber. Keep it up folks. Can't wait for the 2011 activities. Cheers!!!
