| 22nd September 2009 EDET ADUAK | calabar carnival initiative - From: Calabar Christmas Carnival I must commend on the last calabar carnival 2008 which brought all the ethnic group both in cross river and other state in nigeria together as one nigeria.the idea in which Donald Duke initiated has expose a lots of people who lacks tourism concept in both nigeria and despora.well, appreciate all the good work of our dear former governor because he really turn our dear state to a mega city in west africa as a whole he really make us proud because without his concept we will still be in darkness.if i have my way i will make him a president but is quite unfortunate that nigeria has not yet embrace the true and transparent democracy if not so don would have been our president come 2007.i also appreciate the good work of mr Larry Esin who contrubuted immensely in cross river state tourism i pray God should remember him and crown with all his glory come 2010 election in akwa ibom state. thanks frm edet aduak. |

| 3rd June 2009 EKURI, AGBOR EMMANUEL | FULLFILLING THE SCRIPTURES - From: Calabar Christmas Carnival Cross River State is indeed, the Canaanland. Calabar is the Paradise City and first Capital of Nigeria. Cross River State is the New Jerusalem. The Land of the Chosen people of God. A New Paradise, the City of God. The Natural wonders of Cross River State-Agbokim, Qua Falls, Etara Onughi Hills, Obudu Cattle Range, to mention just a few, and in addition her rich tropical rainforest, one of the most reserved ecosystem in the world all fullfilled the Scriptures that in the Canaan City is the Birthplace of The Messiah who is to salvaged mankind from all their sufferings by giving to them a Promisedland. it would be a land with bounties where The Lord Himself would be there. Where The King of kings and The Lord of lords would Shelter the Chosen. There would be no need for light of the sun in this City because the Glories of The Lamb shall brighten all the dark ends of the City. But Who is This King of Glory? Has He come to Calabar, the Canaan City? YES! How do you know Him? He shall wear a RED Garment (Gen.49:8-11;Isa.63:1-5;Rev.19:12). His followers shall put on white garments (Rev.7:1-14). And He shall be called by a New Name which ONLY The Lord God shall reveal (Isa. 62:2;Rev.2:17;3:12;19:12). This Name is NOT JESUS. For Jesus is not a NEW NAME. While you dance around carnival jubilating that Calabar is clean and green; a Paradise City. Search for The King of this City. Stop all forms of immorality and Soddomy. FEAR GOD! |

I definitely envy you. Thank you for commenting on my blog. I hope you stop by more often. Your insights were very intelligent and helpful in an area that I have little understanding. Reasic |

| 13th March 2007 BGmail | renewable energy - From: Whose Power? Welldone ;) what a great gift ! Abundance of Sun . Its a pity we are not making the best use of our resources. In this age Nigera as a country cant guarantee a day of Electicity supply for the whole nation. i would love to be part of the body promoting renewable energy in nigeria. If i have my way i would love to wor for a compnay that deals with renew able energy and research into how this could be make affordable for the mass. If you wait on the government to do everything; nothing will be achieved. |

| 20th January 2007 Eti Umana | Renaissance of CRS - From: Calabar Christmas Carnival The cultural renaissance which Gov. Duke has revived in CRS odd to be a model for all the states in Nigerian, but especially the south south which has a rich cultural heritage. This is what people all over the world would lcome to see, then go home with memories about the people. I was there and had a good time. I do plan to be back next year and after that. |

| 27th November 2006 Robbie | - From: Abuja FYI, DC's one of the biggest urban disparities anywhere. Actually, I believe it is the biggest in the States. You have the richest county in the country (Fairfax) next to the city with the highest poverty, AIDS and, at one point, murder rates in the country. As for how planned it has remained, that I really don't know. I'm hoping, BTW, that you've read James C Scott's "Seeing Like a State" - integral for this debate. Ah heck, you probably wouldn't be harping on this topic that much if you hadn't :) Can't wait to hear more from you! |
