Suz, thinking of you... Have just read your blog, I admit I haven't read all of them but I do save them for when I make time, I just had baby 2 months ago so bit hectic around here! Are you ok? I'm worried about you! I guess you'll be back in Aussie now and I think you'll feel relieved and emotional about that return. It is amazing how things can dramatically change in a short instant. Thinking of you and Dave and wishing you a full, gentle and speedy recovery, take care, love and hugs Mim
THANKYOU TO EVERYONE!! Thank you for the kind wishes and support. I am pleased to report that we are safely back in Australia. The trip home was quite tough on me, but I am back in hospital and receiving fantastic medical care in Melbourne. It will be a long slow recovery process but it is going quickly and we are wonderfully supported by visits from family and friends.
Get Well Soon! So sorry to hear about the accident - so glad that you are OK, and that you have travel insurance! Wishing you all the best for a speedy recovery and a great 2012 - Ali

Despite how horrible the ordeal must have been, thank you for sharing this blog. It\'s refreshing to hear that your travel insurance company came through and that you will be receiving proper rehabilitative care. Very glad to hear that Dave is supporting you, and I wish you a speedy recovery!!
Dave and Suz, I'm glad you are still smiling. Friends and family are the best cure! I'm glad you are safe and healing. Heading back to Australia for physical therapy is a good idea. I'm sure your future holds many travels. What a wonderful array of photos. All our best....hope to see you again.
Get better soon! Wow, what an end to 2011 for you. We hope that 2012 brings you a fast recovery. Have a safe flight back to Australia and hopefully you will be back on your feet in no time and travelling again. We will be a little more wary of those pesky motorbikes from now on we think!
Just minding your own business, and blam.... Wow, that is quite a blowout..and a reminder to all how things can change in a blink of an eye. Wishing you a safe and somewhat comfortable trip back to Oz, and then medical/physio. So glad you survived. Take care of yourself.

Dining with Italian Travellers G'day Suz & Dave! Hope you are both well - it's obvious you're having fun. We are both enjoying the beautiful words and inspiring imagery...thank you. Loving the Geelong coastal life here (just need some summer weather) and Lady is now a true beach-hound. Kaz & Sam are dropping over tonight for dinner, vino and a catch up. They have just returned from 5 weeks in Italy, so we are hanging to hear of their adventures. I went to Phillip Is. last weekend for the GP, a big weekend and the first opportunity I've had to catch up with the Melbourne crew since I immigrated to the south coast. Everyone says hi and sends their love. We will fill Kaz & Sam in on your adventures and I'm sure that they will send their love too. Keep well and stay happy. Missing you...luv Lis & Frog

Suze spent a year living and working in Ireland (in between all the long weekends away), Dave returned to Oz for 6 months but re... full info
