Ullanapanee
Hey Mike, funny stuff and nice pics. Great guy/great wall is my fav. Ullaanbaatar the Napanee of China? Ever since seeing Henri Cartier Bresson's exotic photo of wrestlers in Ullaanbatar years ago, I've fantasized about visiting the place. Are you saying, all I need to do is ride down the road to Napanee?

I hate mosquitoes
After 5 days of trekking I find myself suffering the consequences of approximately one million mosquitoe bites, and with the upsetting thought that I have a mere week to go before flying back to the UK. Nice Pics mike, that classical looking guy in the leather pants needs a cod piece. Keep it coming!

Seriously Michael, give me back my Louis Vutton bag!! Haha, great pics again. The hair shoes remind me of something I saw in Poland. At Aushweitz they have a room full of hair that the Nazis pilfered from the bodies of the Jewish they killed. They then used the hair in the German textile industry...blankets and jackets and such. Where are the Chinese getting all off this hair to make shoes and a house? Wierd!! Miss ya! Much Love, Nicole

M. Guillotine actually ended up opposing his own invention when he realized how inhumane it was. There were numerous experiments where the name of the victim would be called immediately after decapitation; on occasion, the eyes of the beheaded would look towards the voice. Fucking creepy, if you ask me.

Vietnam fing-nam!
Monsieur Michel, I too very much enjoyed reading of our hero's adventures..surly train conductors, political propaganda and the commodified hills of Sapa and surrounds are all things experienced in my travels as well. Dropping dong on clothing was an espeically enjoyable past time. Please keep us updated on your hero's escapades as you traipse through the Asian world....it will for some good reading while Im tooling around through the Australian outback. Safe travels, Colin

Hola
Hey Mike, appology accepted for your repeated capitulation to the relative comfort of air travel over it´s terrestrial competitors. I enjoyed reading your notes on Vietnam, reminds me of my trip there a couple of years ago. i was at most of those places. I particularly remember the prison camp and the propaganda and lack of honesty within. I find myself in the world´s highest capital city (La paz, Bolivia) waiting to check into a shitty hostel for a couple of days here. Off to Titicaca and Peru soon, will send some pìcs when I get a decent computer with USB and reasonable internet! keep us informed, all the best tOm

Mikul I miss you!!
Hi Mike! I am glad to hear that your adventures are consistent with my superiour standards for fun. However to my dismay you seem to be experiencing too many adventures to update this blog in a timely manner. How am I supposed to live vicariously through you? And mister whenever you want to complain about the heat, think of me in Saskatchewan where it is only 10 degrees C and raining. Oh what pleasure I will get when you are in Russia and we get Indian summer! Oh yeah my mom made a big turkey dinner last weekend! Miss you, safe travels, Much Love Nicole

F*$K memory cards!
Yeah, you know I lost my India pics because of a faulty memory card.... good luck getting that stuff back! I have learned: upload as many photos as you can.... as fast as you can. I won't make that mistake again!

Ok, ok I guess I will admit your photos are pretty good. They do induce travel and adventure jealousy. No wait I have already had lots of adventures in Saskatchewan since I returned. Just yesterday I went to the waterslides with 2 moms and 4 kids and learned all about the birthing process. What fun!! Miss ya kiddo!!Stay safe and most importantly keep fit and have fun!!!

Hey Michael, Your travel musings have triggered in me another outbreak of road fever. I awoke this morning wearing a colourful Hawian shirt, camera around my neck and drooling on my atlas. Thanks dude.
