We took a weekend trip, and by we I mean, Granma, Uncle Hector, Aunty Rina, Eddy and me, up north to Wick. We drove up the western coast for a more scenic and slower trip (took about 10 hours), through Oban, Fort William, Fort Augustus and a place which I love the sound of the name but cant remember how to spell....its near to Loch Ness. The scenery was absolutely spectacular. Everyone always makes these comparisons between the scottish highlands and new zealand - I'd agree that some of the scenery is similar but I think its on a grander scale in Scotland and its ALOT greener.
