Wonderful!!!!!!! Wonderful!!!!
Great pictures!! Thrilling to look at!! Wish we had not gone down into Taos NM and explored more in that whole area where you are. Love those high places as long as I have something to hold on to. :)) We did Independence Pass out of Aspen that was way up there and I know what you mean about the two lanes etc: A exhilarating scare to say the least. My! My! what fun. Thanks!!

Good Old Colorado!
Hi you two...Looked up Canon City and the Royal George on the net and wish we had gotten off of 25 coming back up from NM heading for Colorado Sp. Canon looks about 50 miles from 25. Hate we missed it. Looks really exciting but don't think I would have liked driving on the bridge. We were pretty daring...maybe we would have. Love the camp ground and the back ground scenery. Just can't get enough of looking at the mountains and canyons and all the in between. :)) Got an email earlier from Breaking Christian News reporting serious flooding in Co. so hope you did not decide to head on up higher in the state. Trust you are okay. You may already be gone and wonder how wide spread the rain is. Be safe..take good deep breaths..and keep the travel blogs coming ...with pictures of course. :)) E & P

Nice Photos!
Even with the hot temperatures and fire damaged landscape, we're jealous that we're not out there too. It still looks very pretty. Glad you're off to a good start.

Have a great trip
We were wondering if you were on the road? Sorry we missed you before you left, but want to have you out here when you return. Have a great adventure in your new RV. The national parks are great and it should be nice both going and coming back. Yosemite should be fine by the time you get there, at least the valley part. You might hit some cold weather in the northern parks even in September, but it normally isn't 'too bad until November. Drive safe and have fun. Tom and Sandy Jenkins
