Well my trip through jordan has now reached Amman and within a day or two i should be heading into syria (visa permitting). I arrived with a french/spanish couple and a japanese guy who i met at the ticket office to in nuwieba. After a scenic walk across a huge diesel smelling truck park we boarded the ferry and headed over to aqaba in jordan together after an epic and slightly longer than stated ferry ride. Including the usual visa problems with a jordanian immigration official who wouldn't be out of place selling second hand cars.
