After Jared left things got much more open, unsure. I knew only that I had to be in Puyo by the end of the month for work. So I stayed in Quito and went to the museums that Jared wasnt interested in and then took a bus to Cuenca. Even though it is a somewhat large city I complete fell in love with it. Colonial buildings, cobblestone streets, sounds of the rivers gushing, plus, it was full of the nicest people I have met yet. I cannot tell you how many times, just sitting on a bench, a conversation with a complete stranger would start up...and not the just the creepy kind, I*m talking the converstations that leave you smiling.
