Don't give up Guero You can't give up on the challenge now John. But if you do decide to come back there will definitely be a few pints/G'n'Ts waiting for you.
what does mundo mean? Mundo translates as "world". So Mundo Nuevo (tho it sounds like some nasty tropical disease)would mean New World.
Happy travelling.
you would cry too! Well my knee is still in pain, infact Im having difficulty walking, sleeping and siting. Too much too soon I say is the cause, or maybe just a bike thats not setup properly.
I have promised jd, that when my knee recovers and i can ride without pain again, that i will not swear as much. I promise.
You dont realise how much you miss driving or catching a bus, until you ride. So thats why Im utterly upset at my knee. I want to get back out there asap.
Can let jd get too much fitness advantage over me.
I had a great day too Nice to read about our great day. There is no need to recompense me for the food and beer, the look on your face all day ( kind of red and puffy was payment enough) good roads my friend. George
Hot stuff That volcano looked like it was going to singe your eyebrows. Some nice shots, hope you can save them all. Hope all is well over there and the trip is going to schedule. weather is nice here at the moment, sun has been really hot so shorts are starting to come out of the cupboard. anyway take care hope you both are getting on ok and enjoying the scenery.

The Katrina of Travel Hi John, Great blog. The boys here at Forestry have taken your advice and have started making the intial phone calls to get you a book deal!!!
It is interesting to read about you meeting up with this Norweigan guy - Bhorn. With you and him together, I can't image the country side after you guys go through. Are you sure you weren't in New Orleans a few weeks ago, or maybe Pakistan?
Anyway keep the blogs coming, they are the highlight of my working day!
Good to hear that you are still alive and well. You certainly are having an interesting time. Very boring back gere in hobart compared to your efforts. especially bike riding.! Weather has been really different! One day hot the next rainand floods etc.
Hope you have a great time finishing your adventures
bye for now. sandra
I´m Tasmanian and that probably explains a lot. I also love to travel, particularly by bike ...
I´ve somehow survived cycling through England, Scotland, Ireland (though someone did steal my bike in Sligo which put an end to that), New Zealand, South Africa, South America and even Vietnam. OK, Vietnam was a cycling story without a bike and a clear demonstration of why, if you should ever be tempted, you shouldn't play touch football on an icy oval 30 minutes before the sun rises on a cold Tasmanian morning two days before heading off on an overseas holiday.
So this time's it's Europe... full info

Hope Jazzy is not reading this blog and seeing the photos of her fickle owner with all those Latino dogs.
