Hello everyone! Thank you for all your wonderful e-mails and comments. I know how much support and love you're all sending my way, and I really appreciate it! Hello everyone! I had plans of my next entry being about the AMAZING time I'm having in India (and I am!), BUT, um...I've developed a case of shingles and I'm not much in the talking mood. Mom, don't freak out, I went to a doctor and got medication, but I am concerned because one of the complications of herpes zoster is Ramsay Hunt syndrome which involves the ear and can lead to deafness. Yay! I made it out of the country! I am in Amsterdam on a 2-hour layover after a sleepless flight, on my way to New Delhi. The airport here is AMAZING, save the not-so-friendly-looking guy who greets you with a machine gun as you exit the airplane. Other than that, this airport is spotless, has high-speed internet, lots of food, shopping....I may just vacation here;-) For those of you who like drama, something crazy happened to my left ear on my flight to Minneapolis, and now I can barely hear out of it. My first travel blog entry! I’m so excited! I’ll be in India from August 9 through September 5 to study homeopathy. My plan was to observe a doctor in clinical practice in Mumbai, but last week in Mumbai they had the most rainfall at one time in the history of India, complete with flooding, power outages, and water shortages. I was nervous at first, but I got over it. Then it rained again and clean-up has been quite slow and the death count high.
