With my internal clock totally twisted around, of course I wasn't tired after being awake for almost two days! It was an absolute MUST to hit the streets of Tokyo as soon as I could. After I found my luggage and room, I headed out with a large group of Toronto JETs. Very quickly the group got split up....I think we were all too busy looking around us, rather than where we were going! I ended up with a guy named Lee. I'm leaving on a JET plane... Japan here I come! I left Toronto with great excitment, and many tears. I don't do very well with goodbyes, so it was an emotional exit at the airport. There was a group of about 130 JETs leaving Toronto, and some of them I met for the first time with teary, puffy eyes. Quite the first impression! We flew with Air Canada to Tokyo.
