Love of cars
Glad to hear you liked the pics. This car museum was a great place, and something like this in the US would be a big story. I enjoyed my time there and was quite surprised it's not more well known in the region. As for yourself staying in the dark, I'll trust it's more to moral rather than legal reasons.

Hello
Hey, that was a pretty funny experiance to realize I'm standing to an old student, while in a completely new country. I suppose that goes to show how small the international school world really is. Glad to see you there, and I'll keep my eyes open the next conference I attend. Take care.

Thanks
I appreciate the kind comments. While I hope the pics get the story across, I would strongly suggest you travel to the places on your own if you're really interested. Never understimate the the power of passion!

I hope you are having a great time in Taiwan, it seems like you like it there! Will you be posting something about Beijing? Hey Mr.Bryant! How are you now? I hope that Taiwan is doing you well, because both of us here miss your awesome Social Studies classes so much! We've never had a teacher that was as great as you! When we pass by 2202, we think about all the experiences and lessons that we learnt from you. We love your pictures, and (no offence) we though you were the cutest little thing ever when we saw a picture of you as a kid! :) Oh by the way, does the Ferrari need poilishing? Take care and enjoy Taiwan, know that you have loyal students back here at UASD! <3 Gina & Yasmine

FJ Cruisin
Hello, I'm not sure how far out we went in the Empty Quarter, as we mostly drove with some locals. My FJ was an automatic, as getting a manual would have been more expensive. If it helps, my current Jeep is a manual. Your FJ got stuck in the desert next to the road? Did you let air out of the tires?

Hey Nat! Good trip. How far out did u get to go?? Moreeb dune? I did take an Fj Cruiser on my latest trip and guess what? It got stuck in sand on the side of the road!! After that I didn't have much faith on it. Yours was a manual or auto? Keep trippin!

Jordan
Hello, Jordan was certainly a nice place to visit, but I'm guessing you want to get an experiance of the Middle East and the history? This being said, there is quite a lot of history in the region, such as the pyramids. Traveling on your own can be easy, so long as you're very flexible, and you study a useful travel guide like a pilgrim a holy book. Overall, I wouldn't recommend going to the Middle East just for Jordan, but if you're in the Middle East, you certainly can't pass up Petra. In my view, 3 days is enough for Jordan, considering how much else is around, like Jerusalem, Lebanon, Turkey and so on. Good luck on your travels.

How's overall
Hey there :) i have always been interested in visiting Jordan. How's the country like? Is it easy to travel on our own there or go with a tour group? Worth the trip there? Any other must see places?

Mr Bryant! For a few days at school I couldn't even believe you'd left, it was like a shock. I kept thinking I had history class with you and then I would see my schedule and your name wasn't there. :( I honestly learned so much from you and I really miss all that now. I really hope you're doing well in Taiwan, and only go a long way forward in life. =) Mahnoor.

Mr. Bryant, how are you? I hope that you've settled well in your new home. =) I can't even begin to tell you how much I miss you. For the first time yesterday, I went to the library. And as I walked past your old room, I had flashbacks of spending classes simply talking to you. =) Just wanted to know how you are, and tell you that we all (philosophy club especially) miss you. So much has changed in a matter of months. Its truly incredible. Keep on blogging! I love reading them =) <3 Iman

What thoughts should you think?
I haven't had the pleasure of visiting any ruins yet but, when I visit museums I always wonder what the people who made or used the artefact were like. Our lives are such a small amount of time in the scale of human history. Ancient artefacts and ruins give us such a connection to those people whose stories were too insignificant to get into the history books. For example, when you sat in the throne you had a connection with a maid whose job it may have been to clean it regularly not to mention the royal who sat there pondering important political decisions. If you visit a racetrack that would give you some level of connection to a page or servant who tended the horse. What of the slave who put that particular slab in place in the Roman road? I hope in a thousand years when somebody finds a ruin of my house they will pause and wonder what I was like.
