Response to your comment
Hi Ian, Got your note today and saw that you had left a comment here. I had read it, but probably was too busy eating or drinking at the time and did not acknowlwdge it :-) I will drop you a further note in the next couple of days after we have disembarked and have got to Prague. We are hoping to get the next blog out today (if we can decide on which of the 1150 photo's to include) and that will have a bit of info on the respective tours. Regards Geoff

Enjoying your journey
Hi Geoff & Marg, enjoying reading all the news re your trip. You seem to have seen part of the true Greece and not the real tourist type experience most people would get when going to Greece. Please keep in touch especially as you are now starting on our trip next year. While in Paris any tips would be gratefully appreciated re down to earth restaurants, travel tips etc. I would appreciate the same info for Prague. Geoff no doubt you havn't lost your touch for sniffing out good eating and drinking, ( just remember Coles/Myer are not paying our expenses) Anyway enjoy the rest of the tour , Regards, Ian & Karen.

Aussie Adventure wrap-up
Dear Marg and Geoff - what an amazing journey you took. I had no idea it required 11 weeks to complete and all without your own personal toilet. Remarkable indeed! Such pioneers you are. Thank you for sharing your wellwrittne stories. I found them to be quite entertaining and educational as well. Enjoy the comforts of home and your hot running water Regards Mark

Parrot
Hi Eug, no we didn't paint the parrot (not sure if that is the right description for it, but that will do for the moment). He was one of a very large flock that lived around the caravan park, and were very very tame. They bordered on being a nuisance when we chose to eat lunch, to the point where they would sit on your shoulder and follow each piece of sandwich right into your mouth!! But yes, they were rather special and being able to get that close to them was great. It was not a great sunset as they go up there, but we liked the trawler adding some scale to it on this occasion. Glad you liked it. Regards Geoff

Thanks Eug
Hi Eug, I am glad you are enjoying the blogs; I am trying to make them as interesting as possible. As you can see I have mastered (almost) inserting the map so now you should have an idea of where we are in the country. Thanks for your concern about my Mum. She turned 90 on Sunday and is doing as well as you could expect for someone that age who had had her circulatory sytem re-plumbed. We are visiting every day and although she had a set back at the end of last week, I am confident that she has turned the corner and is now headed for her 100th! Regards Geoff

Crocodile Tarts?
Great job with the blog Geoff/ Margaret. The pictures are only outdone by the descriptions. Fascinating stuff although I would probably have difficulty with crocodile tarts and kangaroo "thinigs" but who knows. Sorry about the satellite dish remaining unoperational but the world news is nothing to cheer you up about. Maybe just as well......Enjoy safe travels.
