Capt Giuseppe Maresca

Is Captain Maresca still on board
I'm sorry satti but I don't have that information available. The Magnifica was back in 2012. We sailed on the Orchestra in 2014 and had Captain Maresca again so it is probable he will be on a different ship when you sail from Rio. It is probably best if you contact MSC direct who may be able to answer you question. Regards

the Opera House by night

Stunner
Thanks Snarko. It wasn't difficult as the Opera House is very photogenic regardless of angle or time of day. It made my job that much easier!

Glad to read that you are travelling again - for a while we thought that perhaps you had run out of world to visit !

Greetings
Thanks for your comment Anne and Philip. I'm afraid you can't get rid of me that easy. I came up against technical difficulties for the South East Asian trip so that is still a work in progress. In the meantime, I'm committed to complete this trip within the next few weeks before our trip to Peru that starts on 1st June 2019

Entertaining
An enjoyable read about your stroll around Singapore’s historical centre. Glad that you tried the durian and Singers Sling, which I only had a sip of years ago as it was so disgusting. Prefer G&T occasionally. John paid AU/Sing 22.50 at the Marina Bay hotel and wasn’t even allowed to view the infinity pool! Loved the photo of you drinking from lion ? fountain. Very artistic.

The picture of the commander maresca is very classy, very elegant, gentleman, I would like to see him again on a MSC boat; what is its destination? Sophia

Yet another view from the old square in Havana

Great photos
Excellent shots, Chris; looks like you had amazing weather and presumably this is before Hurricane Michael! The walking tour sounded very revealing - many pictures appear to have nobody around in the streets..

Yet another view from the old square in Havana

Great photos (I know!!)
Thanks for your comment Snarko. Luckily we were in between cruise ships so most of the passenger had not yet arrived. The streets were much busier on the day of Embarkation. Hurricane Michael. There ill be something about this in a future episode!!

A Whole New World
Oh dear Chris - Roison has just learnt two new rude four letter words - 'Uber' and 'Taxi' - your travels and cruises will never be the same again ! My life changed for the more expensive, after my daughter taught my wife the words 'Taxi' and 'Room Service'.

Omg
Please tell me the monkey hanging from the ceiling didn't really happen? OMG, that's horrific, it would frighten the bejesus out of me and it would be more than water leaking on the floor! On a happier note, I absolutely love the pic of Roisin in the clogs. I know want a pair of clogs, something I must speak to the Hotter design team about!!!
