Day starts with a tour of the famous Orchard Road (like Rodeo Drive in 1962) and breakfast at 'Food Republic' food court. My choice was a bowl of noodles with 346 types of tofu - for the bargain basement price of $4.90. Not much to do in Singapore, so we head to the Singapore Museum, and learn about the history of Singapore. As an overview - lots of different cultures live there and a lot of people invaded. Check the giant chilli if you go there. Then do the great Sing tradition of drinking Singapore Slings at Raffles and throw peanuts
