Omg!!! Sweet pea, wow!!! SUch amazing photos I am so proud of u for being so brave. What an awesome experience u are having. I had tears in my eyes when I was looking at your photos!!! I miss my lil sis xxxx
OMG! OMG! Have you gone completely mad - it must be the sun. . .you are cuddling a TIGER! It's not flippin' Toby! ITS A TIGER as in will rip you to shreds before you can say BLUEBELLY!
Must be Sean's aka Monkey man, bond with the animals. . .
AMAZING!
Sean has probably found a little Monkey and run off for some climbing adventures never to be seen again! I got into trouble for carrying wood and also for forgetting to put my huge long sharp steak knives (from the cutlery set) into my main luggage and tried to carry them on as hand luggage and got about 10 Thai security police pointing guns at me and screaming in Thai - quite scary! Then I was taken to a back room and handcuffed to a chair where they tried to tell me (by demonstrating as noone could speak English) that I was going to slit peoples throats on the plane and hyjack it. very funny looking back (like a weird give-us-a-clue), but terrible at the time. In the end I was escorted back to the plane (minus the knives) in handcuffs and gun point and sat in my seat. Everytime I wanted to go to the loo everyone practically jumped out of my way for the next 11 hr flight! ha ha ha
Bites Hellooooo...
Once I went to Bangkok, my next stop was down South in Koh Phi phi, then back to bangkok, then on to Sydney. I did the most stupid thing ever! I got to Bangkok and went mad buying things in the markets, including a 14 piece silver cutlery set and a chair (the leather one). I bought so many of my little wooden things that I had to get an extra case. Anyway, I spent the next 3 weeks in hell carrying this all around. I didn't learn, when I was in Brasil 2 years ago I bought 21 pairs of Havianas and had a to carry them around in a massive bin bag for 3 weeks all over and it kept breaking! Wise man say. . .sod shopping and go to the beach instead!
Well, if you are up that early at least you can chill on the beach I guess. Arn't you using the mosquito net? That should keep them out - huts on the beach and mesh on the windows = mosi hell! They always will get through that netting and there are probably already a family of 20 living there waiting for the next tourist feed.
Going travelling with Sean must be like taking a pet Monkey away, once a day he has to have a little climb. . .and also the insects are not biting HIM - but they are biting YOU a Human - i would have a word ;)
Sxx
HAHAHA Ahh that made me laugh, yes thats probably the problem.. lesson learnt - never go travelling with a monkey or you will get all the bites! I remember that, didnt u get in trouble when you got to Sydney because you forgot to declare you were carrying a ridiculous amount of wood!? hahaha! We are going to tiger kingdom today where you can hold baby tigers! i cant wait!! Although Im not sure whats happened to Sean becasue I said I wold meet him here ages ago and he still hasnt turned up so I think he has got lost! haha. xxxxx
no communication from sean! Hello sean, can you please communicate with me, dont feel part of this, your not even answering the blog, can you please get your phone fixed so we can text you personally, thank you! Sounds like your having fun, go to the monkey island in Thailand they sound hilarious and cute! :) x Mum and Dad
helloooo - love reading this! Helen and I are in bed about to watch grey's anatomy! We are now on season 8 eposode 18 so nearly at the end! Getting the christmas tree today. Yesterday was up North meeting the vicar, getting the flowers sorted and the cake! Did lots of planning and got a lot sorted like rehersal times for the day before and reading of the banns etc. The vicar is lovely, but seriously tiny! She is like a minature vicar ha ha!
Enjoy Chaing Mai - I never made it up there, but it is supposed to be beautifuk out in the countryside! You should'nt have to do so many organised trips in Thailand as it's pretty easy to explore yourself - especially down south! Make sure in Bangkok you don\t let the tuk tuk guy take you on detours to diamond factories etc - you will literally have to shout at them!

haha The hangovers are only a very tiny part of it dont worry! Im glad u feel a part of it! ALthough the pictures I put up on here are only the tiniest part of the whole day! We have soooo many pictures between us already its ridiculous. Im going to have to sit down and sort them out at some point as some are just pointless but you feel like you need to capture everything on camera to make sure you dont forget anything! How is home? I hear its been snowing! brrr! Im sitting here at 10am in like 30 degree boiling hot sunshine :) muhahaha!
xxxxxx
It sounds amazing - apart from the Monkeys - I told you they were bad - for gods sakes don't go to Monkey island in Thailand they are just as bad and I had to run into the sea as well - although being a tough man I didn't burst into tears!
The waterfall pics were just beautiful, Helen and I are lying here in bed looking at them all (yes that's how exciting our lives are!). It's also snowing! Julia and I went for a swim at the DL this morning and it was snowing loads! You could feel it on your back as you swam, julia letf her bike there as it was too slippy to ride. I drove mine home as my manly bike can cope with all weathers ;)
Enjoy the boat trip to Thailand and can't wait to hear the next part of the adventure. Make sure you sleep near a life jacket and a rail so you can jump off - the boats there have a reputation for sinking!

I HATE MONKEYS Dont worry I wont be going to any more Monkey Islands.. even if you were to pay me! They have made me nervous of all other animals out here aswell... Im scared to look a cat in the eye incase it runs over and bites my leg! :( It does make me laugh thinking about you running into the sea like I did though as it is petrifying at the time! I had two clawing at my leg though!! Eurghh it makes me shudder thinking about it even now! haha! Im not jealous at the thought of swimming in a snowy pool in the slightest to be honest... much prefer to be where I am swimming in fresh water waterfalls ;) haha. The spiders in that forest were horrible... absolutely massive, the pictures dont even do them justice. When sean sorts his camera out I will put the ones he took up and you will see how horrible they were! haha. Anyway off on an adventure now! Speak to you soon! Enjoy the snow ;) xxx
first day in Ha Noi I know, you will love Ha Noi, and Im true. But the weather in red rive delta this time (Nov - Feb) usually have fog, cold, some time rain. Fortunately, a few today was sunny, enjoy the beauty of Ha Long Bay.
Halong Bay Cruise Sean that hilarious about the monkeys, i can just picture their faces when they couldnt have a beer! ha ha have u got a picture of them. I would of also ran a mile if they jumped on me ha ha. You both seem to be having a good time best wishes mum & dad xx
O noooo!!!!!! Monkeys carry rabies and I\'m not joking, make sure no saliva got into any scratches. A funny funny story, Stephen had a funny experience on monkey island in Thailand!!!! The boat trip sounds amazing, I can honestly picture u there. Keep enjoying every moment, even the dodgy hostels!!! I can\'t wait for more photos!!! Xxx
