Its been a while, hope your all well and keeping warm in NZ and probably cold in OZ ah cobba's! just think of what we have to deal with in the swedish winter and maybe you wont feel quite so cold, its about 40deg warmer than the last time i wrote! I've just come in from fishing, i cought some oxygen weed and a few rocks, not a bad ah! it was so beautifull on the lake tonight, not a breath of wind, warm and just me, a couple of beers and the not so hungry fish that were jumping about. its been really hot the last few weeks, it was 32 deg today, hard to belive im in Sweden! Hi everyone! Its been a while since my last entry, there's been plenty of action the last few months, we spent 4 days in Rome in April, that was really nice to get out of the cold and see the sun again, we mostly walked the city by day, checking out all the amazing roman ruins and eating out at night. Easter weekend was spent in the north of Sweden at the biggest ski resort called åre, that was a really cool trip, good snow and great weather! We went up by an over night train about 12hrs, we managed to squeez our self's and gear into our own little cabbin and actually sleept ok! Hello there, hope your all well! Today is another beautifull sunny day, but -5 deg! the last few days have been the same but colder, about -10. So winter still has a firm grip on Sweden, It has actually been one of the coldest winters for about 20 years, so they say! There has been complete snow coverage over the whole city for three months now, It's really nice, but im ready for change, I'd love to feel some sun on my body and take a paddle in the ocean, Im feel a bit like a caged rat ! Happy new year! Hope you all had a nice chrissy and new year! Its been a while since I last updated, Before Christmas i guess there was'nt much to report. How ever I've been pretty bussy the last month or so, We spent christmas with Emmas family at there farm, nice and relaxing, eating really good food, walking around the property, playing cards and loosing most of the time! On the 27th Dec, I flew to England and went streight up to Oxford to Andys place, It was cool to chech out all the old buildings of the university and town. G'day all! Hope your all doing well! not so much going on, at school most days, trying my best to understand Swedish, Im making progress, but its not the easyest language, i still struggle with english! I was surfing yesterday, that was really fun! but i think it was the coldest ive ever been in my life! water temp is 8 deg and air about 10, managed to stay in the water for 2 hrs! Its really dificult conditionds, the wind and all the rubber does'nt make life easy, The national saurfing competition is on Saturday, we might go along and check it out! Will be cool to see a surf comp in Sweden! We have'nt had any snow yet, last year it was white everywhere by now! So looking forward to the first big dump! ... read more

Hello, Hallå, Yep, im back in a class room, like a little school boy! I started SFI (swedish for immigrants) two weeks ago, its been really fun so far, so much to take in and very difficult at times! no english is spoken at all. I was a little supprised at how much i understod and im making ok progress! It is truly a class of immigrants, im the only one in the class with english as there first language, we have arrabics, Bosnians, russans, a polish girl, A Sumalian and more, its cool! Em and I were in Gothenberg a couple of weeks ago, Swedens second biggest city, it was really nice, friendly people and cool old trams all through the city, we went to a big fun park there and stayed with my mate ... read more

G'day, yep it's true, you can surf in Sweden! I was out last friday night having a couple of beer's with an Irish guy who has just started at my work, After about my sixth beer i got a msg from a mate inviting me to go surfing on Sunday. I woke Saturday morning feeling a little dodgy, but had the day to recover before going to work at 9pm, I worked till 3:30am and was picked up at 4 to go to Torö, the surf spot, I did'nt get any sleep during the 2hr drive, but we were greeted to fun sholder high waves and it got better as the day went on. G'day, We drove back down to Linköping today, so that means summer is coming to an end, the weather has been really shitty, so it already seems like it's over, but it can change real fast and could be 30 deg next week, ya never know here! But anyway things are still good, were happy any well, ive got another weeks work building up north next week and good money, thats a bonus! then im hoping to study Swedish full time, and there's a new job possibilty, will let ya know more later. Hello there, This is my first test run on this web page, im trying to add photo's, hope it works out! Thing are really good here in Sweden, the weather has been nice and warm and i've be up to lots fun and interesting things! I've been building becks for a few friends of Emmas family and here at there place. We recently had Andy staying with us for 10 days, played a bit of golf and wakeboarding(until the motor shat it's self). Last week we drove to Nice in the south of France, 24hrs streight, through Denmark, Germany, Switzerland, Austria, Italy, then France and also went to Monoco, That was a really cool trip!
