Impressivo! Beautiful place guys! That garage area is quite big I might add. From my experiences in living and visiting different European countries, I've never seen parking quite that spacious. I'm sure as you visited the different places you may have noticed the same. So how many people live in this housing complex?
Welcome to European Time Can't help but to laugh at the fact that you started dinner at 2000 and ended at 2330... Europeans are just on a completely different time schedule - in particular Italy and Spain. I had many a long night just due to their dinner time. Sounded delicious though. Beautiful back drop of the Alps. Can only imagine you salavating over your future bike rides through them :)
I like it! Hey Gary, the place looks great. It looks like it's in the center of town. I looked it up on Google Street view so I got to walk around your neighborhood a bit. Just a couple of blocks from your apartment is a monument to Vittorio Emmanualle II. I remember the one Kathy and I saw in Rome by the Forum. (Of course, that one was way larger.)
BTW, that wouldn't be the Matterhorn in that one pic of the Alps, would it?
All in all, you're in a fantastic part of the world!

#5 Hey Guys! Awesome #5 looks like a keeper!. I hope it all works out tomorow please no pink in my Bathroom lol. I hope u and Deb get every thing you want u deserve it. Love Steve & Terry
Weather You and your "celcius" temperatures...you are already fitting right in. I guess you don't have much of a choice since you will be living there before you know it! I had to do some math (LOL), but wow, I think it is hotter there than it is here! I hope apartment hunting is going well. :)
Weather back at ya Hi Tracy, Its been very warm for the season, unseasonible. 35C most days since we got here. It will start to cool down on Wed we hear. Scary Micky was 55 Euro (close to $70) which is pretty steep even though it seems to be one of a kind. Hope all is well. See you soon,
Ciao,
Gary & Debi
Football Mino & Teresa: I don't know who do root for yet. I guess I better watch a lot of football forst and pick woh I really like. I have to decide if I want to remain friends with you two, so I may have to be carrful who I choose :)
We love it here so much. Paris feels like Torino to me. Very clean, warm, colorful, strong, vibrant, etc... many good things to say and the people are very nice.
Ciao, Ciao,
Gary & Debi
Siamo gelosi-we are jealous And very happy for both you and Debbie. What a wonderful adventure you embark upon real living in Italy. We subscribed as you suggested. and your Italian Gary -"magnifico". I will mail to your Home address info about our friends scuba diving business in Rio Maggiore (le cinque terre) in Liguria. In the event you might want to visit on a long weekend cause they have many in Italy. Italy is now experincing record hot temperatures, gues God knows to keep you both comfortable with Florida like weather. Roma played Udine and Roma won the match when the captain Totti scored a goal within the last 5 minutes. Udine played very well, a tie (pareggio) was what we were hoping for. On the series A, Udine is a strong team 56 points and Roma has 53 points, Milan is at the top with 65 points not including tonights game with Florence. NApoli also has 65 (in 2nd place to Milan). I wonder what your Soccer (calcio) team will be your favorite?? Ciao a tutti!
I and my best friend and wife, Debra, will be embarking on a journey taking us to northern Italy for 3 or more years. We hope to share most of our adventures with family and friends back in the USA. Debra and I are 55+ years young always looking for adventure and the best this life has to offer. We hope to share what we can with whomever sees fit to take a read. Don't forget to subscribe so you can be alerted to the presence of new entries and you won't waist time seeing the same old stuff. Oh, and pass the word to other mutual friends we may have forgotten to tell about this Blog.
