Well, Trevs forced me on to the computer and is making me write stuff! Dam it i was quite happy chilling out on our hostels roof garden topping up my tan! Have been having a great week in Frankston with Dave and his family who are very very nice, would like to thank Sue, John Pete, Ellenor (cheers for the Milo) for making me feel so welcome and Dave, Stacey and Paul for taking me out everywhere sightseeing and getting fairly drunk on a few occasions!!! This is a bit of a late update as we have had little time to update the blog over the last week. As I write this im sitting infront of a computer in Daves house in Frankston Australia nursing a hangover from the night before :-s. Well we've eventually got off our arses and have travelled over to the other side of south Thailand to the Krabi provence. This is the first chance we've to update on the adventures of christmas. The weather still wasn't great on Phangan so during the day just hung round in the bars, eating, reading, sleeping etc. Did our shopping for secret Santa. sa-wat dee krahp! Thats hello in Thai, one of the many phrases we have been trying to remember. Its been a bit longer than I had wanted since our last update, however we are both well. Hey guys Kim and I are now both on the island of Ko Pha Ngan. Per usual the day we travel it was raining and we had to get a ferry across to the island and the seas were quite choppy which didn’t help much with the slight hangovers we had. The island is amazing and not all the roads are paved, there are lots of mud tracks and its more hilly than Wales! It’s far different than the island we were last staying on. Both suffering from a slight hangover yesturday after a heavy night out down an Irish pub in Cheweng with the Irish lads then went to a club which we can barely remember going in.... The Irish guys can seriously drink, one had a bottle of Rum to himself and that was after more than several pints!!! There was a great Irish band playing and the drinks were so cheap compared to England! Weather is now pretty much back to normal very hot and the beaches are realy nice. After our last entry the weather has slowly improved. We have been told that we arrived just at the end of the worse rains they had in 20 years! 7 people died along the beach front due to collapsing buildings! Things are much better now and the weather is getting better day by day, Kim even got a lilttle burnt! She has also been bitten by lots of mozzies while ive hardly been bitten at all *smug*. Hello sadly we are here in an internet cafe to get out of the rain. Since the last posted we have traveled south on the Thai Rail which isnt all that great, traveling to the island of Ko Samui which usualy has great sunny beaches and little rain this time of year. This year though there has been unexpected storms so we are trying to sit them out in out bungalow on the beach. Well we're sweating...... We arrived very late in the evening very tired from the long long trip. Kims eyes were actually red! Walking down Khoa San Road that tired was a bit overwhelming, we both were wishing for own beds at home at that point. After sleeping for 12 hours we felt slightly better. In the morning we went on a boat trip down the main river in Bangkok which was bumpy. Then we went on the sky rail and saw the whole of the city from above.
