| 5th November 2008 Shalyn | Typical Loner - From: Shakti Power: Dreaming with Snakes in Totnes I resonate so much with this piece that I feel somewhat displaced sitting here. ;) Then I have to remind myself of something Einstein said which I like: "Although I am a typical loner in my daily life, my consciousness of belonging to the invisible community of those who strive for truth, beauty and justice has preserved me from feeling isolated." Happy reading, thanks for sharing. |

| 17th September 2008 Celia | Welcome back! - From: Wales: The Inner Journey Dear Tiziana, glad you're back and happy! You've reminded me of a story I read some time ago, about a boy who decided to go to a far land by the end of the rainbow, to find treasure. When he reached there he managed to dig out a coffer, but, to his surprise, it contained a map showing the exact location of the treasure, which was next door to home! So there you are... I've embarked myself into an inner journey, too. My best tools have been yoga, ley-line dowsing and two books, which I recommend you: Homecoming (Reclaiming and Championing Your Inner Child) by John Bradshaw, and 'A Course in Miracles'. Best wishes for your inner journey! |

She told me about your blog. I just spent 4 months in India - & a good chunk of that time was dissolved in Rishikesh. Ahhhh. I really had a beautiful identity meltdown there. Truly transformative. If you're still there and you get a chance i recommend hiring a driver to take you and Hee up to Devprayag - where there is a sangum; the ganga & alakananda rivers meet and create a distinctly striped river. It's incredible. And you can dip there! freezing but worth it!! I also journeyed to the Kali Ma temple on my way back from Kedarnath. Amazing place - i ditched my guide for long enough to sneak in an unforgettable powerful goddess ritual. look forward to hearing more of your journeys! love n blessings to you om nama shivaya Hari Jiwan Sacha xx |

Did you select your ashram on the basis it teaches tantric yoga? Happy dangling anyway, Percefal |

| 19th December 2007 Travelling Priestess | Answers to your questions - From: Tales from Pakistan's North-West Frontier: Towards the Khyber Pass Ok, Mily, here are the answers: Hard to believe, but our Chitrali driver is much much nicer (and better looking) than Pupu! He is lovely! However, I am not singing in the car, and my travel companions are not as nice as you - by far! Missing you, hope you have a great time! |

| 2nd December 2007 Kassandra Knebel | - From: Je suis malade: Sick in Nepal Sie Arme! Wie unerquicklich! Führen Sie bitte immer ein, zwei Beutelchen mit Elektrolyten mit sich. Zumindest in entlegenen Gegenden. |

| 9th November 2007 Barry | - From: Honouring the Tibetan Sky Gods in the Mountains Wow, it brings it all back! Try walking round the Barkhor at night, it's very atmospheric. Yeah get a mask or 2 or 3 -- it's not just pollution but dusty roads out of town can be a bit nasty to breath. |

| 21st October 2007 Geraldine | Wildness ... - From: 5000 km later: At the sacred lake in Siberia Yes! Reminds me of my own very minor travels ... and how quickly I got sucked back into the everyday life of commuting, supermarkets, paying bills. Courage required, though. I agree with what Pete says - ouch! Love Geraldine |
| 17th October 2007 Pete D | Ouch that hurt! - From: 5000 km later: At the sacred lake in Siberia "Shouldn't we all be wild My friends from Kazakhstan - note Hassan third from left! and free, following our dreams, our deepest desires, our destiny - rather than being locked in jobs we don't enjoy, civilisation and social norms?" Ouch your words hurt. Err i guess the only answer is "yes", so why don't I.... |

| 1st October 2007 Antti Litmanen | The Dead and the Fog - From: Mountain adventures and bone churches Glad you made it to Mlník - it is a beautiful town. There is a lot to be said about the somber atmosphere of the Mlník ossuary - much different from that of the well-groomed and busy one in Kutná Hora. We had the former to ourselves for quite a while, with silence much conducive to presencing the strong life (in death) of the dimly-lit chamber. Did you notice the skulls apparently damaged by sword-blades placed in view on one side? How many stories they must keep. It would've been interesting to tour the nearby wine cellars as well, had there been enough time. "The Fog on Snezkou" picture is enchanting enough to take me there if I keep on gazing at it just a few minutes longer. Sad to hear the fog hides such ravages by poisons of the our time. |
| 1st October 2007 Suzi | argh - From: No Belarussian Visa? You have prrrrroblem!! Where is part 2! I must read the rest!! |

| 10th September 2007 Travelling Priestess | Manaia - From: He who danced to the sound of a drum wearing the garland of the great serpent on his neck No, you never mentioned that. I'm glad you did, as I will take it with me now. Txx |
| 10th September 2007 Tassos | Manaia - From: He who danced to the sound of a drum wearing the garland of the great serpent on his neck You know, I am not sure if I ever mentioned much about the bone carving you have. It's a Manaia, the Maori guardian of spiritual energy. It has the head of a bird, body of a man and tail of a fish, creating a balance of Sky, Earth, and Sea... It seemed appropriate for you, back then. -t |
| 9th September 2007 Jonathan | Great party - what will be you most important book andwhy? - From: Following the call of the wild soul Thanks for the party last night - great music and good to meet up so many friends. Someone asked me who I knew from amongst the guests ~ and I counted people from five different circles / circumstances ~ three of which you directly or indirectly had a hand in bringing about. Thank you for that! So with youR trolley on wheels (or whatever it becomes over the months ahead) what is or will become you most treasured book and why? I look forward to hearing the highs and the lows ~ and as a friend says "the awesomeness of it all". Travel well and with good heart. If you see Brian along the way ~ give him our love. Jacky and I remember well the Inanna weekend and the time he spent with us. Jonathan CALM BODY ~ OPEN HEART ~ GENEROUS MIND |
